Mikey has really been enjoying school. He loves to learn and hopefully we can find a way to help him keep that love and not get bored in the classroom. He's reading way above grade level, but that discussion is a post in itself.
Joseph is doing great. I'm enjoying having him home without Mikey for a couple hours each day. He really is a different child without Mikey around. I'm starting to be able to see more of his strengths. He also loves when it's time for Mikey to do his homework, because he can do it too. Most of the assignments are way too easy for Mikey, but perfect for Joseph, so I let Joseph do the assigned work and I modify the assignment to be more challenging for Mikey.
Jason's work had a big picnic just a couple of weeks ago and we all had a blast. Before hand we met up with one of Jason's coworkers for a family photo shoot. We met at Bridal Veil Falls up Provo Canyon. It's so pretty up there and the kids had a blast. Sarah took some great pictures (ok so I've only SEEN two, but if the rest are as good I will be a very happy mommy). At the picnic they had a company wide Volley Ball tournament. It was quite amusing to watch a bunch of computer geeks play volley ball. :) The company had also hired a clown to keep the kids entertained, I know that guy earned his money that day! He was making balloon animals for the kids and my little instigators asked for swords, sheaths and shields. Well they got what they asked for and then ALL of the kids wanted the same, they then of course tried to kill the clown. :)
